The executive board consists of seven highly motivated men and women, with diverse professional backgrounds, who understand the devastating impact PTSD/C-PTSD can have on the afflicted and their loved ones. Unbroken Warriors is dedicated not only to fundraising for veteran PTSD/C-PTSD care, but also for raising awareness to the daily struggles that our returning veterans are faced with. We understand the life impact PTSD/C-PTSD can have on one's life. Our hope is through funding residential-level, intensive treatment, we can help one veteran at a time find peace in life once again. We welcome your questions and look forward to working with you!
Is treatment for PTSD/C-PTSD right for you? Is it feasible for you right now? Reach out to the treatment facility to discuss the program. Residential treatment is a big commitment.
Once we receive your completed packet via postal mail, we will contact you to confirm within a week of receipt and to discuss your paperwork with you. Our board will then review your packet and inform you of the determination for funding after that time. If you are accepted for funding, you will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from Florida. Applications can only be completed by the military veteran applicant himself/herself. Funding is not retroactive for a previous or current stay at the facility. Missing pieces of the application will cause delays in determination of funding. Applications will not be considered until all required paperwork is submitted.
